DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL JOURNALISM

The department of international jornalism was established in 2004.

The chairman candidate of philological sciences, assistent professor Hamid A. Valiev has been heading the chair of the “International journalism” since 2004. He is the author of the books “The world information agencies”, “International journalist organizations” and about 80 scientific and publicistic articles.

Scientific direction

The department of international journalism investigates the actual problems of international journalism. The main purpose of the investigation is to learn the actual problems of international journalism, to investigate the system of modern mass media of foreign countries, to compare them, and to determine the influence of the global problems of our time to journalism.
