Television and radio journalism

The department of television and radio journalism was established in 1981.

The chairman doctor of philological sciences, professor Mamedli Allahverdi has been heading the chair of television and radio journalism since 2017.

Scientific direction:

The department of Television and radio journalism investigates "Television and radio journalism in XXI century: trends and perspectives".

The main purpose is to observe the important details of the process of integration in television and radio in the world in XXI century, to generalize them from the scientific and practical point of view to determine the place and role of Azerbaijan television and radio in this process, to follow the actual activity and technical problems of radio journalism, to analyze the positive practice gathered from the foreign countries.
