PERSONAL DATA

• Was born in 1959, July 24 in the Yenikend village of Kedabey district of Azerbaijan Republic.
  
• Married, has two children.

EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC DEGREES OBTAINED

• In 1975, graduated from the Novo-Saratov secondary school.
• In 1981, graduated from the faculty of journalism of St Petersburg State University with honours and during a year, worked as a special student-explorer in the same faculty.
• From time to time, wrote for newspapers: "Molodej Azerbayjana"("The youth of Azerbaijan") (Baku), "Vecherniy Leningrad" ("The evening Leningrad") (Leningrad), "Lagoda" (Kirovsk), "Dnepr Vecherniy" ("The evening Dnepr") (Dnepropetrovsk), "Komsomoletch Kubani" ("The member of Komsomol of Kuban") (Krasnodar)
• In 1982 obtained master degree in the faculty of journalism of St Petersburg State University and graduated in 1985.
• In 1992, due to the Armenian aggression against the Azerbaijan, he created voluntary detachment from students of the universities of a country and took part at the defence of own lands. He was the representative of the Ministry of Defence.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• In 1985 defending a thesis on the theme: "Press in the fight for bolshevist strategy and tactics in revolutionary movement
• in Azerbaijan ( the day before in at the period of the first Russian revolution)".
• He has worked at Baku State University since 1986. In 1992-1993, he worked as a chief of the department of human police in the President's apparat and the chief of
• education, public health, and social problems in the Cabinet of Ministers. Simultaneously, he was working as a teacher in Baku State University. From 1991to 1999, he was a teacher and senior
• teacher in the sub-faculty of the International Relations and International Journalism. He has
• worked in the sub-faculty of International Journalism and is being a docent of this sub-faculty.
• He gives lectures on the topic : "The modern problems of International Journalism ", "The journalist's rules and duties in international practice", "International journalism and modern International Relation", "The theory and practice of journalism". He worked out the educational program in the basic courses such as "The theory and practice of journalism" (for bachelors), "The modern problems of international journalism" (for masters).
• Now he conducts research in theme: "Modern media police of international organizations and the problems of developing of Azerbaijan press ".
