20 years passed since the occupation of Shusha

Today it is 20 years since the occupation of the city Shusha. After this event it was finished the occupation of Garabagh by the Armenian invaders. At that time there lived 24,900 inhabitants at the area of 289 square m. During the occupation 193 men were killed, 102 became invalids. Historical Museum of Shusha, branch of Museum of Carpets, Historical Museum of Garabagh, temple Agoglan in Lachin, Azıgh Cave, Askeran fortress in Xocalı, Historical Museum in Kelbedgar, and other historical monuments were destroyed. Holy fortresses and temples were profaned, libraries were burned up and important manuscripts were destroyed.
