ACADEMIC COUNCIL
Academic Council of the faculty adopts the regulations about the faculty and makes changes in it. Academic Council also confirms the structure of the faculty. The council elects the dean of the faculty by ballot. They listen to the annual report of the dean and assess his activity. The council also discusses and assess annual scientific - research report of the chairs. The council head educational and scientific activity; international relations and other activities of the faculty. They also think over specialists and realize the process of candidates' elections to scientific - pedagogical jobs on the basis of vacancy. The Academic Council of the faculty proposes candidates to Academic Council of Baku State University for electing them to work as professors, chief scientific workers; also to give them academic degrees. Academic Council of the faculty elects their representatives for Academic Council of BSU.
